Sweden 2006

My first vacation with VanJean, together with Logan (the roommate) and Eunice (the skinny one) and Christine (the secretive)

We decided to make a trip up to the north artic circle because we know that we might not be able to make it when we are older, tropical monkeys cannot really adapt too well in extremely cold weather. So Sweden was the place we chose, stockholm might seem abit too MILD , hence we made sure our Adventure was more memorable by going up north to KIRUNA, the northern most town of sweden, 165km into the artic circle.

This is how we started the trip:
Because we wanted to save money, we took the earliest possible/cheapest flight from ryan air, which departs at 6.40am. Together with Siaoyao and gang whom are going to Italy, we decided that sleeping in the airport would be the most ideal instead of rushing to the airport at 3 in the morning. hence .................................

While Eunice was looking after the baggage "literally crawlling all over them" ; logan & christine went off to take pictures; hence me and fifi foo were looking for things to do ........ EAT



Note that this is 3am in the morning, but what to do we cannot sleep....

But..........................

Fifi cannot tahan either, so she took over the role as the baggage controller

Eunice woke up and started reading Vanity Fair ~ =p

So time has come, we checked in our bag *only christine*, went through the immigrations, neglected the tempting Baileys *2 for 20* and arrived in Stockholm's Skavsta airport. The airport had a very IKEA feel to it, so bare and simple, total contrast to KLIA and Heathrow; The immigration officers didnt really trust five of us and ask us hell loads of questions, i have a feeling it is because fifi was wearing pink and i was wearing IGUANA green, Logan was Blue, Christine was dirty green and Eunice was black with a Vanity Fair book =)

SO we got through the immigrations, bought our first thing in sweden, their bus ticket, cost us 300 kroners *thats 150 ringgit* and heading towards the city centre which is 1hour away.
